Last November, I collaborated with WORM and Amarte to support a series of four creative workshop programs led by experimental collectives, including Bolotsa Collective, Goblin Feast, Wastewaves, and SoupSpoon.
The workshops were a beautiful mix of imagination, collaboration, and experimentation. Participants built costumes, created edible installations, developed speculative political personas, explored embodied health practices, and even composed soundscapes from Rotterdam’s wastescapes. Across all workshops, I witnessed and contributed to moments of curiosity, playfulness, and connection—participants supported one another, exchanged ideas, and collectively shaped the outcomes of each session.
This project culminated in the creation of an interactive booklet documenting the outcomes and insights from the workshops. Designed and printed by WORM, the publication will launch in February 2026 during Kunstavond at S/ash Gallery, offering a tangible reflection of the creative and communal energy generated during the series.
Working on this project gave me a deeper appreciation for how community, experimentation, and shared curiosity can come together to really cool participatory experiences, and I am grateful to have been part of bringing these imaginative worlds to life.
